Fresh install
A clean Nextcloud install on your server. Latest stable version, SSL, recommended PHP and database tuning. Ready to hand over when we're done. Talk with HPB and Office suite setups add to the cost.
Upgrade, one major version
Currently on the last major release and want to move to the latest? Straightforward. We back up, upgrade, verify, and hand it back.
Upgrade, multiple versions behind
Two or three or more major releases behind? Each version has its own migration path. We step through them one at a time to avoid data loss.
Migrations
Nextcloud to Nextcloud
Moving your Nextcloud from one server to another, or spinning up a fresh instance and carrying everything over. Users, shares, files, and apps stay intact.
Version upgrades during the move add to the cost.
ownCloud to Nextcloud
Move your self-hosted ownCloud install to the latest Nextcloud without losing users, shares, or files. Includes a fresh setup at the end.
Prices assume up to 50 GB of data. Larger datasets, or transfers between remote providers, add to the cost depending on size and how long we need to monitor the transfer.
Fixes and custom work
Sync issues, stuck in maintenance mode, performance problems, custom apps, or something odd. Send us the symptoms.
We look at it first, then quote either a fixed price or an hourly estimate depending on the issue. No charge for looking.
Hourly or fixed
$60/hr · $100 for 2 hours
Decided after we see the issue.
Billed in hourly blocks. Minimum is one hour, even if the work takes less.
A note on migrations
We don't migrate from hosted providers with exception.
If you're on a hosted Nextcloud (Hetzner, Nextcloud.com, or a similar service), we can't help with the migration. You don't own the database or configuration, and without full access there's no reliable way to move the data safely.
Exception: If your hosted provider gives you the full database dump, config files, and data directory, we can move you to your own server. For a hosted Nextcloud, this costs the same as our Nextcloud-to-Nextcloud migration ($150). For a hosted ownCloud, it's the ownCloud migration (ownCloud to Nextcloud) price ($500), since the upgrade path is much longer.
